It is so easy to get overwhelmed with things we have in our lives.  The things that take the biggest toll are those things that are attached to our emotions.  These would things like our families, our friends, our jobs, our coworkers or employees, our money, our bills, our desires, our dreams, our competition results, our etc, etc, etc.  But just because these things are important to us, or we can get emotionally attached, doesn't mean that we should let them control us.  Write down all the things that bother you, affect you, change your state of mind.  When you look at this looooooooooong list, you need to know that you can VERY EASILY, cut it down to just a few things.  Why?  Because the only things you really need to be bothered with are the things that are under your control.  When it comes to your friends, family, co-workers, etc, you have ZERO control over them and what they do or how they act.  But you have TOTAL control over how you respond to what they do.  If you let yourself get upset at the what and why they are doing what they are doing, then you are wasting TONS of valuable time.  You only need to concern yourself with you and your responses to them and the things they do.  This means you can control if you are angry or not, irritated or not, bothered or not.  When it comes to money or bills, then it's about not worrying about what already happened because that is over.  Just put your time and energy into what you need to do now.  Do you need to pay something today?  Then do it.  Don't think about how you don't have enough for this or that, just keep moving forward.  Don't cloud your brain and your thoughts with what might happen, just keep moving forward.  For dreams, desires, and competitions, remember that you can NEVER control the outcome of those things. The only thing you can control is what YOU do and how you do it.  You will either let or not let things bother you or affect your performance.  You will never be able to control or manage what others do so don't base success off solely if you win or not.  How did you perform?  That is the question.  Keep the extra stress out of your head.  Cross those things off your list so you can enjoy the ride of life and all the ups and downs it has.  Just LET GO of all the things you cant control, and put everything into the things you can.  Be proud of what you are able to do and keep moving forward:)
