There are all kinds of influencers out there.  And so many people that want to be one.  For the most part they will do their version of positive thoughts and comments in the thought of trying to get people to listen and then become engaged in their work or blog or post.  There are tons out there that I think are really good.  Obviously, it depends on the mood I'm in at the time or what I'm really needing to hear.  But there is something that I have learned listening to all these people and their different comments: if there isn't any experience behind what they are saying then they are just "parroted" words from someone else.  Why is this important?  I mean if you hear a phrase that connects with you then that's all that should matter right?  Well maybe.  Let me put it this way, would you take financial advice from someone that doesn't have any money, has made many financial mistakes, and has appeared to be all over the place with their financial choices?  It doesn't seem like that would be the best choice right?  So why would you listen to someone that doesn't know how to push themselves through pain, discomfort, struggle, uncertainty, etc.  An amazing coach doesn't have to be the best athlete but they do have to understand what they are making their athletes do.  An inspiring influencer doesn't have to be a millionaire or the top dog in the field, but they should be someone that practices what they preach.  Be selective about who you choose to listen to.  Don't let it be a comment that someone picked up on Instagram and can't follow on their own.   Coaches are there to make you better.  Pick the best one for the job! :)
