Its easy to say that you are the most important YOU there is, and that you need to make sure to take care of yourself, etc.  But what exactly does that really mean?  Do you take care of yourself?  Ok so we know you CrossFit.  That obviously a good thing.  We know that you know what Paleo is and how to eat right so you should have the nutrition thing down.  But what about the rest of the stuff?  Do you take a moment to do something that you enjoy?  Do you give yourself a moment to enjoy your world or the things that give you pleasure and happiness?  Doing this will help you to be a better you because a happy YOU will be able to FLOW better than a worried unhappy you.  The other way to improve yourself is to make sure that you surround yourself with people that you want to be like, that have qualities that you want or want to improve, that you respect, or like.  The truth is that you ARE a product of your surroundings.  If you are around those that bring you down then you will have a VERY difficult time rising above.  I wont say you cant do it but it will be MUCH more difficult than it could.  Lastly, invest in yourself buy learning.  Learn more about anything!  Anything you like or want to do!  Read a book, take a class in what you want to do, go to a seminar, see the best of the best and learn what you can.  Just like a better CrossFitter is one that is more well rounded, a better person is one that is more well rounded too.  Be a better you.  Not just a better CrossFitter but a better everything:)
