How often do you ask for help?  Do you save it for when you really need it?  Do you go to particular people on a regular basis so you can utilize their talents?  Do you never ask for help?  First off, we all need to understand that there are many people out there that are WAY better than us at particular tasks.  If you are trying to be efficient, why not ask them for some help so you can have a much better product or action?  Next, you need to think about WHY you aren't asking for help.  I am terrible at asking for help.  It's not because I have an ego.  It's not because it's "my way or the highway."  In fact, I'm a helping person and like to help people all the time.  But even with this, I very rarely ask for help.  I guess I have been burned in the past when trying to delegate tasks.  It wasn't because they were done differently, they just weren't done with any sort of care or professionalism.  I think I know the reason I don't ask for help is mostly that I don't pick my head up to think of who to ask.  I'm just in the mix, doing my thing and trying as hard as I can to get things going.  It usually isn't until someone says, "hey i could have done that for you" that i even realize it was a possiblity.  But what i miss out if this is time.  Im not being efficient.  If i do everything, then i have no time to do anytihng else.  Im learning.  So basically dont be like me haha!  If you know of someone that can help you, ask them.  But dont take offense if they say No.  And then remember you need to make sure you put into the help kitty.  Give some and get some!! :)
