Look at all the great works of art in the world.  the Sistine Chapel, the Mona Lisa, the statue of David, Venus De Milo.  Then look at the "wonders of the world" or even the "natural wonders of the world".  Do you think these things were developed in a day, a week or a month?  NO!  Great things take time.  There are so many things that go into making something great.  You have to have the idea, then come up with a plan, then execute that plan and, just the Terminator, absolutely do not stop.....until it's done!  This exact same philosophy needs to happen with any goals you might have.  If the goal is truly something you want then you need to be able to drive forward and constantly work on it until it's achieved.  But we all get impatient.  With our short-term concentration, if it's not achieved in a few days, then we give up on it.  Take a look at the Grand Canyon.  It's the giant canyon that was formed but the Colorado River.  But this didn't happen in a day, a month, or even years.  It took around 6 million (even though current research is saying 16 million) years to form it!  6 MILLION YEARS!!!!!  So as long as there is forward progress, then there IS progress.  And as long as there is progress, then you ARE getting closer to your goal.  If the goal is truly important to you then this MUST fire you up!!  Be stoked on the progress!  Don't rush the progress!  Just make sure that you put the most you can into each and every step so that that foundation is solid!  You'll get there!!! :)
