We all have a ton of stuff going on in our lives.  We are constantly having to deal with this or that.  Sometimes there are giant worries, and giant stresses we need to contend with. These things can weigh so heavy on us.  It might even feel like you are suffocating with everything weighing down on you.  How do you make it go away?  Most of the time, you might give yourself the ol' "come on!  don't quit!  Don't be a wimp!  Suck it up!!"  But this doesn't always work.  In fact, you may be able to do that but still, go to bed and wake up exhausted with the constant fight.  There another way to battle this.  It's totally opposite from what you thik it would be.  The magic is helping others.  I know right??? How the hell does that work?  When you are slammed and emotionally drained, then keeping your head in the fight keeps you in the exact same realm.  If you help or tend to someone else, then it's truly the one time you get to disconnect from your own personal pain.  The SEAL Teams do this a bunch.  They teach that it's all about the team and if you are hurting REALLY bad, then you refocus your thoughts and energy on one of your teammates.  They have all said that when they do this, then the discomfort isn't nearly as bad as it was when they were in their own head.  It disconnects them from their own pain and misery.  No doing this doest pay your bill (if your stress is a financial one) but if you are in a better place mentally then you can always handel and attack things better.  Be the good person and help someone out.  And if hnothing else, you just get to be a nice person helping out!!:)
