Excuses....I'm too old.  I'm too young. I'm too tall.  Im too short.  ETC.  These are the REASON people will give, or hide behind, for not being able to do this or that or to not be able to win.  These things are just excuses.  I'm not saying that they may or may not give you an advantage or disadvantage but it is NOT the deciding factor of whether you will be successful or not.  How many times have you seen the "outlier", the short, the old, the tall, etc, do exactly what they shouldn't be able to?  It happens a bunch!  I have seen it a ton of times.  Maybe there is a percentage of shorter people that cant compete in a tall person's game but this doesn't mean that you cant.  It all comes down to how hard have you worked?  Have you put the time in?  the blood, sweat, and tears?  If you have then maybe you will win.  But maybe there is still someone that beats you.  Is it the because of the excuse?  Nope.  Sometimes there are just some people that are better.  Period.  Not because of any reason other than they are better.  But don't give yourself, or fall int the trap of using the EXCUSE to dictate your success or failure.  Just come out, train hard, prepare, and then go kick ass!!  :)
