"If you cant explain it to a six-year-old, then you don't understand it yourself", is a quote from Albert Einstein.  Einstein is generally seen as one of the smartest men ever and is known for his Theory of Relativity.  This quote means so much to me.  As a someone with a teaching background and who is in the fitness and life coach realm, I feel that there are SO many out there that are really just smoke and mirrors.  They throw big, very scientific sounding words around so that they APPEAR to be very intelligent.  But big words mean ZERO.  The only time it works is if the person using them uses them and they can break it down into very simple and understandable pieces.  If they cant explain it simply, then they don't know it well enough to be able to do this.  Usually, the case is that they heard, learned, or someone told them some info and then they repeat it with the attempt to OHHH and AHHH the people around them.  I can't stand people like this.  I remember I had a Biology teacher in high school.  He would do this.  Literally, try to wow the class of all his knowledge and when we would have difficulty understanding something, he would basically just take jabs at us telling us that we obviously have not been studying etc.   This was how he held his "power position" over us (and this was an advanced biology class).  And now I see these new gyms out there, other coaches and wanna-be influencers that post these long "very anatomical and physiological "  posts and sound like they know what they are saying.  Please take this is smoke and mirrors.  This goes for ALL areas of your world.  If someone can't explain something in simple terms to you then you should be leery about what you are being fed.  For us, if you ever want to know the "whys" just ask (and you may even need to ask me even though I'm SOOOOOOOOO unapproachable hahaha).  I'm not going to waste your time trying to impress you with my big words every day just because.  I'll impress you with our big results!  On that note........have a great workout today!!!   :)
