One of the coolest things I liked about the fire service was that the incidents that we went to were equal opportunity incidents.  What I mean by this is that IT didn't care if you were a male or a female, old or young, injured or not, rich or poor, experienced or a beginner, sick or healthy, tall or short, good at the type of incident or just can't ever find a rhythm in them. There is a job that has to be done and you need to use whatever you can to make it happen.  There will be aspects of the job that you are really good at.  There might be parts that you aren't very good.  But does that change the task?  Nope.  And it does no good to complain about the parts that aren't in your wheelhouse.  It won't make things easier or make you better at it.  Its all about making things happen.  So today, the next workout of the OPEN will be released and there will be something about it you like and probably something about it you don't really like. But instead of totally worrying about what you might not be very good at, just think about how you are going to get the job done.  Test yourself and see what YOU are capable of:)
