The way we program at INFERNO is unique.  It's NOT just for a competitive CrossFitter that wants to make it to the Games or Regionals.  But it is comprehensive and tough enough to push an athlete at that level.   Even the top 1% of CrossFit athletes can use this program.  The unique part of the program is how it is broken down so that if you are a regular CrossFitter, you will be able to get the same response from the workout as the elite.  This is how it works: The program tells you how many reps unbroken you should be able to get...FRESH.  When you pick the right weight, whether it's doing 225# Cleans or 95# cleans, you will be getting the correct response.  I understand that being able to RX a workout is a pride thing.  I understand that it's exciting to be able to do those here, but if you barely get out of 1 Round in a 3 round workout, then you didn't get the correct or desired response of the workout.  If you always go the RX weight but can't move it enough, then you are missing the programming that is placed before you and even though you might be getting stronger, you will not be a better CrossFitter.  You will not be able to move faster, you won't be able to work to a particular intensity if you need to.  Same goes for the other direction.  Sure we want fast.  Sure we want you to move with correct form.  But if you should only be able to get 12-16 reps UB fresh and you can get 25+, then you aren't getting the response.  Sure your time will be fast but usually you still aren't with enough intensity to really get the benefits (remember Intensity = Force x Distance  / Time).  If a workout should take 10ish minutes for the elite level athlete and you get 6-7, then you aren't getting what you needed out of the workout.  I'm not saying that you are wasting your time, but I am saying that we have a program here that has proven to make people better.  It has gotten athletes to the Games, to Regionals, to improve in the Open, to increase their Half Marathon time, to losing weight, to look better, to just plain feeling younger.  This is the point of our program.  It's pure, OLD SCHOOL CrossFit.  Follow the process.  Follow the program.  Follow the plan.  You WILL reap the benefits! :)
