How tough are you? People will say they are tough all the time. They wouldn't let this or that happen to them. But then when you watch what they do they really aren't tough at all. Let's take a simple example: nutrition. Let's say someone puts down $100 to have someone do their nutritional coaching. The coach comes up with the numbers, they check up on you each week to see how you are doing, and they are willing to help with meals, grocery lists or whatever else. They are usually are putting in WAY more time than the $100 would really be worth. But that's not really the point. The point is that MANY, in fact WAY MORE than I would imagine, seem to justify the idea that they can't do it. And you can fill in ANY NUMBER of reasons here for why. Many times nutritional plans will be either 1) cheap, in which no one really finishes, 2) relatively expensive, something like $50-200, which still ends up being blown off, or even 3) $500, which you would think people would cut their arm or leg off to make it work but still just let the money go. The thing is that changing your eating routine is tough. It can be a nuisance with having to count numbers, etc. It can be uncomfortable with how you feel or being hungry. It may be time consuming to have to do your meal prep, etc. But you decided at some point that you wanted to change your body. You weren't happy about it or how you felt. So you put money down. Then after all that, you don't change anything. During your check-ins, you say it was a tough week or you couldn't do this or that. It sounds good to you, but the fact is that YOU are letting it go. YOU are choosing to let this happen to you. If you decided to do something for your child, I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't let ANYTHING stand in your way. But something like YOUR health gets tossed in the back seat. If its important, then MAKE it happen. Make the choice to do it, and the BE STRONG!!! Don't let yourself weenie out of it. Don't let excuses like weddings, parties, trips, tough work week, etc get n the way. Prove to yourself that YOU are strong enough to do what you set your mind to. Stick to the plan and make the changes in your world AMAZING!!! YOU CAN DO IT!! :)
