Deciding that your life is hard is a choice.  Deciding to complain about everything around you is a choice.  Deciding that everything is a failure is a choice.  Things happen each and every day.  And you have the opportunity to see these things as a good thing or a bad thing.  You get to be "chicken little" with the sky ALWAYS falling, or you get to be Pollyanna and play the Glad Game and see goodness in each and every situation.  Its all a matter of how you choose to set the frames you are looking through.  If you are constantly worried about the bad things that will happen, then bad things WILL happen.  You aren't prepared for good things.  You won't be able to respond in a way that promotes good things.  And you won't see any opportunities that something will actually be good.  You will be constantly "what-if" ing more and more terrible things.  If you quest to find the good, then you start to see good.  Not the obvious good in the good situations, but good in all situations.  Seeing good brings good.  You become a thankful person.  Being thankful and grateful, you then become a happy person.  Imagine for a second what it will feel like to be happy.  Enjoying the things around you.  Being able to enjoy situations.  Now I'm not saying that every situation is good.  But you can choose to tilt it to good by doing everything you can to see the good.  And when you are happy, or a better word would actually be grateful, then you are thankful.  You are happy to do things, happy to work, happy to push, happy to live, happy to play.  Happy:)
